General Information about Coffs Harbour

Coffs Harbour is a coastal city located on the north coast of New South Wales about 540 km north of Sydney.

Coffs Harbour is also the hub for a thriving banana industry. Coffs Harbour's most famous 'Big' icon would have to be The Big Banana. This giant structure is located just north of Coffs Harbour on the Pacific Highway. The Coffs Harbour Jetty is an historically important timber wharf where coastal shipping once moved the timber from the hinterland.

There are plenty of attractions to visit including The Coffs Harbour Aquatic Centre, Coffs Harbour Golf Club, The Bunker Cartoon Art Gallery, The Coffs Jetty markets and Dolphin Marine Magic, a marine park that provides people with an educational, enjoyable and above all 'hands-on' experience, enabling 'connection' with a variety of species of marine animals.
